    What cars are mostly stolen?

According to research- the most common cars stolen are 10 years + in age. Most cars this age are stolen for transport reasons, spare parts or to use in another theft. Because of wear, the locks slacken and worn keys, even dip-sticks can be used to start them with little or no effort. Most cars this age do not have immobilisers. A new product has proven effective in preventing thefts of older cars. The Cop-lock is device which easily attaches to the brake pedal and once applied, the car cannot be moved until the lock is removed. The designer owns a VL Commodore hmself. See attached link.
